Double Lake is now in the process of getting a new parking lot in the Day Use/ Picnic Area! The Forest Service has hired a contractor and the effort will take approximately six months.

Our picnic and swimming area WILL remain open; however it will be necessary for those using this Day Use area to park in the lot by the Lodge, and walk across the bridge at the dam. We apologize for this inconvenience, but surely the end result will be well worth the added walk into the area!

As always, we will keep everyone posted as to the progress of the new parking lot at Double Lake. For further inquiries as to such, you may call the office . See you soon!
