Pickwick Dam Campground is nestled cozily in the pine trees below the TVA Pickwick Dam, on the Tennessee River, near Savannah, TN. The campground is flat with 92 interior campsites across the road from the river. It is laid out in 3 loops, loop A, B, & C. Each site has electric & water hook up and four of the sites meet ADA guidelines. Nine additional tents sites are located across the road from the interior sites and are directly on the waterfront. There are a total of three bathhouses, one in each loop with warm showers and flush toilets. The entry roads are paved and each campsite is graveled with a picnic table, fire pit, grill or combo. A dump station is located in the campground for the campers to use at no charge.

Recreational Activities: Across from the campground is a public fishing and boat ramp area. Pickwick is popular for boating, kayaking & canoeing. It has a reputation of being an excellent sports fishing area, noted for its record size small mouthed bass & catfish.

Pickwick Dam Campground has a dedicated web site with more about rates and services here.

It is with sadness that Ed and I have to say goodbye to all our friends here at Pickwick. However, we are also excited because we have been fortunate to be asked to manage a new park for Recreation Resource Management, Roland Cooper State Park, near Camden, AL. We will take many of you with us via FB as many of you have been added as friends to my personal FB page.

Roger and Diann Dutton will be the new managers here at Pickwick. Many of you already know Roger and Diann as they have been here with us the last two years. Please take the time to congratulate them and help them as they take on this new role.

We have planned a couple new things this year. The Fourth of July Parade was so much fun. Please look for information about "Trunk or Treat" as we get closer to Halloween. Diann will keep you posted.

I wish you all the best. As we leave, I leave you with this blessing:

May love and laughter light your days, and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours, wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons bring the best to you and yours.

Travel safe!
