The area is popular for all kinds of water recreation, including  			swimming, fishing, boating and water-skiing. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial,Arial,Helvetica;">Anglers can catch large mouth bass, crappie, bluegill and channel  			catfish. The park is the nesting place for waterfowl. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Arial,Arial,Helvetica;">We operate a store and boat slip rental located right in the  			parking low adjacent to the boat ramp</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Arial,Arial,Helvetica;">Hikers enjoy the Indian Nature Trail, a self-guided trail that  			shows how the Pomo people, who lived in the area for centuries,  			utilized the area’s resources. The trail passes through the site of  			what was once a Pomo village. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Arial,Arial,Helvetica;">The park visitor center features displays about the area’s  			natural and cultural history.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Arial,Arial,Helvetica;">The park includes a 147 space campground with lots of shade and  			most spaces a short walk from the lake</span></p>

<p><span style="font-family: Arial,Arial,Helvetica;"><span style="font-family: Arial,Arial,Helvetica;">Patagonia Lake is a  			beautiful lake nestled in the hills near Nogales, south of Tucson  			and is the centerpiece of 			<a href="http://azstateparks.com/Parks/PALA/index.html" target="_blank"> Patagonia Lake State Park</a>.   It is conveniently  			located near a number of top Arizona attractions, including 			<a href="http://azstateparks.com/Parks/KACA/index.html" target="_blank"> Kartchner Caverns</a> and 			<a href="http://www.tombstone.org/" target="_blank">Tombstone</a>,  			Arizona.  The lake spans over 250 acres and is 2-1/2 miles  			long.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial,Arial,Helvetica;">Patagonia Lake is popular  			for a variety of recreational activities, including camping,  			picnicking, water skiing, fishing, and hiking. Created by the  			damming of Sonoita Creek, the lake is habitat for bass, bluegill,  			crappie, and catfish, and is stocked with rainbow trout during the  			winter. For anglers&#8217; sake, the east half of the lake is designated a  			no wake area. Fishing docks for handicapped anglers is located at  			the Patagonia Marina and behind the Sonoita Creek visitor center.</span></p>
