Saddlebag Campground

  • Saddlebag Lake Campground is located way up in the high-country at 10,000 feet in the Sierra Nevada mountain range next to the lake. All of the campsites have beautiful views of Saddlebag Lake and the surrounding mountains. The area offers fantastic fishing and hiking. Many species of wildlife call the mountains home, such as black bear, mountain lions, mule deer, pine marten, pika and numerous fish and birds.

    Facilities

    Campground (20 total sites)

    20 campsites and 1 large group site at Saddlebag Lake near the Hoover Wilderness on a first-come, first-serve basis. All sites have a table, bear-protectant food container, and grill. Campground has vault toilets. Small RV's or short trailers only, no RV hook ups. Reservations are only available for the large group site.
