Iris Meadow Campground

  • Iris Meadow Campground is known for its tranquil, peaceful setting. In late Spring wild Iris' bloom along with other wildflowers in the meadow; thus, how it was named. The campground is quite popular and has great views of the meadow and surrounding peaks of the Sierra Nevada. Outdoor recreation includes fishing in Rock Creek, backpacking, hiking, picnicking, and wildlife viewing.

    Campground (14 total sites)

    The majority of these 14 campsites surround a small meadow and back up to Aspens and Willows. A few sites are along Rock Creek. Maximum vehicle length is 24 ft. Each campsite includes a bear-proof food storage container, table, and fire pit. The campground has flush toilets and central drinking water throughout.
