Sage Flat Campground is open with restrictions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19; please note a few listed below:
No social gatherings in groups more than 8.
Practice appropriate social distancing by maintaining 6 feet from other visitors.
Practice good hygiene (avoid touching face, wash hands regularly or use hand sanitizer, sneeze or cough into a tissue or the inside of your elbow, disinfect used items and surfaces).

Sage Flat Campground is along Big Pine Creek in the Inyo National Forest, 9½ miles west of the town of Big Pine. Visitors to the Big Pine Creek area enjoy beautiful mountain scenery with mature forests of pines and aspens. Anglers have good success fishing in Big Pine Creek. Trails lead up to the spectacular Big Pine Lakes and other destinations in the John Muir Wilderness. Mountaineers are drawn by the jagged peaks along the Sierra Crest.
