Spencer Campground is open with restrictions to help prevent the spread of COVID-19; please note a few listed below:
No social gatherings in groups more than 8.
Practice appropriate social distancing by maintaining 6 feet from other visitors.
Practice good hygiene (avoid touching face, wash hands regularly or use hand sanitizer, sneeze or cough into a tissue or the inside of your elbow, disinfect used items and surfaces).
Please stay home if you are exhibiting any symptoms.

The USFS has issued a Stage II Fire Resitriction in Arizona until further notice. Propane & butane devices with a shut off switch are permitted.
This mountain campground is located at the head of a shallow, forested canyon a short distance off the Catalina Highway. Spencer Canyon faces the city of Tucson and the Santa Cruz Valley, both of which are visible as a distant panorama through openings in the forest canopy.
