Lake George Campground

  • Lake George Campground is located a short walk from the shore of Lake George. Snug between the solitary white tower of Crystal Crag and the granite wall of the Mammoth Crest is Lake George. Campers who like a high elevation lake setting can find paradise at Lake George. Fifteen sites perch alongside the scenic lake at 9,000 feet and share a small parking lot with hiking trailheads, a boat rental dock and a few cabins. This campground is very popular with fishermen and families.

    Campground (15 total sites)

    15 campsites on a first-come, first-serve basis which can accommodate RVs, trailers, and tents. All sites have a table, bear-protectant food container, and grill. Campground has vault toilets.

  • Active bear area, bear boxes are provided and must be used (typical bear box size 48" x 30" x 36").
